Facility Overview

Our Ogden, Utah facility opened in 1976. The plant is a 192,000 square feet situated on 14 acres located in Weber County. The facility houses a 24,000 square foot office, complete with laboratory and lunchroom. The plant has 6 high dock doors and 3 drive in doors for shipping and receiving operations.

Development Engineering
  • Experienced engineers with product knowledge covering the full range of products. Everything from Thickfilm to Air Heaters to ASME Heat Transfer Systems.
  • 3D modeling, Inventor, and SolidWorks platforms.
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural and thermal analysis using CosmosWorks and flow analysis using FloWorks.
  • Design and build to more than 50 compliance standards.
Engineering Lab Capabilities

  • UL and CSA testing certification. Allows Chromalox to test the product and only submit the results to UL/CSA.
  • PC based data acquisition: temperature, voltage, and current.
  • Remote test monitoring capability.
  • Multiple test bays including UL defined test enclosures.
  • MgO test cell.
  • Product testing and failure analysis services.
