CONT Definite Purpose Magnetic Contactor
The CONT contactors are used for heating loads where the voltage, number of phases or ampere draw exceeds the rating of the thermostat. Some models are available from stock with and without enclosures. Electromechanical contactors are capable of switching large amounts of power to heater loads. Contactors are an economical way to control power where long cycle times or an on/off control can be used.
