Small Tank & Specialty Heaters
Screw plug immersion heaters consist of tubular elements in a threaded hex plug. Some models are provided with a thermowell for the temperature control sensor and a variety of electrical enclosures for electrical connections. They screw directly through threaded openings in tank walls to heat liquids, viscous fluids, forced air, and gases by direct contact. A patented 360º rotatable housing is available on most models to facilitate easy conduit connections. Many models in stock.

Screw Plug Immersion heaters consist of hairpin bent tubular elements brazed or welded into a screw plug, and provided with terminal enclosures for electrical connections. Chromalox RIN industrial heaters use direct immersion for energy efficiency, and are well suited for water heating and mildly corrosive solution applications.
TMO-1 Small Tank Applications
Screw Plug Immersion heaters consist of hairpin bent tubular elements brazed or welded into a screw plug, and provided with terminal enclosures for electrical connections. Chromalox TMO-1 industrial heaters use direct immersion for energy efficiency, and are well suited for light weight oil, and small tank applications.

- Low Watt Density to permit operation in dead air space of pipes
- Insertion into 2" Dia. Sch. 40 pipe, will not fit into heavier wall pipe
- Install or Remove heater without draining tank
- Avoids coking or charring of heat sensitive materials as pipe surface functions as low watt density heat transfer surface

VTS-3000 Clean Water & Oil Applications
Chromalox VersaTherm™ screw plug immersion heaters can be applied to a variety of clean water and oil applications.
The unique versatility of this design allows field adjustment of the rating by simple connections to the six elements of the heater. This simplifies selection and spare parts since each heater may be used in several different heating applications.

- Built-in Contactor (480V requires external 120V control circuit)
- Clamping Nut and Gasket supplied for mounting through tank wall up to 1/4" thick with a 2-7/8" diameter opening
