Strip and Ring Heaters

Overview

Component heaters by themselves meet many heating needs. They can also be integrated into more complex heating systems to provide a complete thermal solution for your heating requirements. Shape and size most often are the determining factor in most heater applications. Chromalox carries the widest selection of standard component commercial heaters in many shapes, sizes, and wattages.

Strip Heaters

Chromalox High Density Strip Heaters are constructed using our own proprietary refractory cement and are highly compacted for excellent heat transfer. These are primarily used for convection type air heating and clamp on conductive heating.

Ring Heaters

Chromalox High Density Ring Heaters are manufactured using the same construction as our high density strip heater. Chromalox Ring Heaters are available in diameters ranging from 2 1/2" to 11" with inside diameters from 1/2" to 8 1/2".

Disc Heaters

Chromalox High Density Disc Heaters are manufactured using the same construction as our high density strip heater. Chromalox Disc Heaters are available in diameters of 2 3/4" and 3 1/4". Disc Heaters have temperature ratings up to 1200°F (650°C).

Explosion Proof Strip Heaters

Explosion-Proof Strip Heaters UL listed for use in Div I, Class I, Groups B, C, D; Class II, Groups E, F, G hazardous locations. They are available in a large selection of lengths. These elements have temperature ratings of T3 and T3C.

Mica Strip Heaters

Mica Strip Heaters are versatile, efficient and economical. They are of the same construction as the mica band heater in a flat design. These are available in a wide range of sizes and configurations.

Mineral Insulated Strip Heaters

Mighty-Tuff Strip Heaters provide high temperature, extreme watt densities, and quick response in applications where previously, any other type of strip heater could not be considered.
