Electric Cartridge Heater for Medium Watt Density - Type C-HD Large Diameter industrial heaters are available in a variety of commercial heating applications: aluminum extraction dies, container heaters, large platens, molds, dies, and stress relaxing. The tightly compacted refractory insulation provides excellent heat transfer to the heavy wall stainless steel sheath. The resistance wire runs at a lower temperature than competitive units with loose-fill insulation, resulting in much longer life. This heavy-duty construction also provides high dielectric strength as well as shock and vibration resistance required for many industrial applications.


CTRH - Heavy Duty Cartridge Heater

Chromalox cartridge heaters are most frequently used for heating metal parts by insertion into drilled holes. For easy installation, the cartridge heaters are made slightly undersize relative to their nominal diameter. Type CTRH industrial heaters are available in a variety of commercial heating applications: forming, stress relieving metal parts, dies, and platens. Available in 120, 208, 240, and 480 V.


CBH - Electric Stud Heater Cartridge Heater

Electric Cartridge Heater for Medium Watt Density - Type CBH commercial heaters are available in a variety of commercial heating applications: large compressors, presses, turbines, die blocks, cylinders, engine heads, and pressure vessels. Constructed of rugged tubular element with a metal sleeve. Accurate Diameter provides proper clearance into standard drill hole sizes. Large Bolts or Studs may be expanded and tightened with a wrench providing “shrink fit tightness” when cool. CBH cartridge heaters are generally used in sets to permit uniform tightening of mating parts.
