C-DD Deep Drawn Cartridge Heater [Technical Overview]
Specification for C-DD deep drawn cartridge heater. Deep drawing is a sheet metal process where a sheet metal blank is radially formed into a forming die with a punch. Traditional cartridge heaters use "as welded" or "drawn over mandril" tube construction, using strip that is formed into a tube and welded. Deep drawing eliminates any weld seams that are typical on traditional cartridge heaters. Deep drawing also eliminates the need for a welded end disk which if improperly manufactured can cause the ingress of moisture into the element. This product is ideal for use in critical applications and anywhere risk mitigation is a concern.

Specification for NWHIS pure water and mildly corrosive solution applications. Water Heaters are ideal for heating municipal water for industrial washing and rinsing processes, as well as purified deionized and demineralized water. Sturdy 0.475" diameter copper and Incoloy® sheath elements provide superior strength and rigidity. Chromalox elements utilize high quality resistance wire for coil construction. All stock and assembly stock heaters come with mechanical AR thermostats. These thermostats are suitable for most applications. Explosion-resistant and liquid-tight thermostats are provided on E2 and E4 units, respectively. Other applications include indirect heating of viscous liquids and temperature maintenance of storage tanks.
