Freeze protection of fire sprinkler systems is a critical application that must be designed and installed properly to ensure proper performance. Chromalox currently has the only cULus listed system globally. Chromalox's heat trace system complies with the NFPA 13, IEEE 515.1, and UL 515A standards. The system is approved for use on sprinkler mains, standpipes, and branch lines. Our CPR cable along with our controls will ensure safe operation of the fire sprinkler system while keeping it from freezing in harsh winter conditions. The system ensure safe operation down to temperatures of -40°F (-40°C).
