CXH Hazardous Location Unit Heater

Chromalox Hazardous Location Unit Heaters are fan forced electric heaters designed for use in division and zone classified areas. NEC defines a hazardous location as an area where a potential hazard (e.g., a fire, an explosion, etc.) may exist under normal or abnormal conditions because of the presence of flammable gases or vapors, combustible dusts or ignitable fibers or flyings. Under these conditions, equipment must be designed and manufactured to specific standards. Chromalox is able to offer products certified to multiple standards, including those applicable to North America, Europe, Asia and Russia.

C-DD Deep Draw Cartridge Heaters

Chromalox Specialty Heaters include our C-DD deep drawn cartridge that has the same construction as our cartridge heater but has a drawn sheath with no welded disc. We also offer our SCB which is a cartridge heater with an Edison screw base.

HSRM Self-Regulating Heating Cables (Medium Temperature)

Chromalox HSRL and HSRM Self Regulating heat trace provides safe, reliable heat tracing for freeze protection of pipes, valves, tanks and similar applications, and is approved for use in DIV 1 hazardous locations. Constructed of industrial grade 16 AWG buss wire with a tinned copper braid and fluoropolymer overjacket, HSRL and HSRM ensures operating integrity in Div. 1 hazardous environments. HSRL and HSRM heating cable has a maximum maintenance temperature rating of 150°F (65°C) and 302°F (150°C) and a maximum exposure temperature of 185°F (85°C) and 420°F (215°C).
