Chromalox has built a solid reputation on providing detailed heat trace system designs that lower installed costs, avoid costly field change orders, and minimize risks to overall project schedules. Our proven design techniques, coupled with our industry leading product line, also minimize risk to your on-going operations.
Our experienced teams located in Calgary, Alberta; LaVergne, Tennessee; Croydon, UK; Soisson, France; Mumbai, India and Shanghai China are ready to deliver designs consistent with most stringent specifications and local approval codes anywhere in the world.
Our ChromaTrace software tool is used as the central tool for each design. This ensures consistency in our implementation of rules based design and system documentation. ChromaTrace will handle input from 3D modelling systems using the IDF file protocol. Additionally, built in automation tools insure consistent entry and accuracy of the piping environment on the front end. All calculations for heat loss, sheath temperature and other critical parameters are compliant with the IEEE 515 standard. The powerful database engine serves to track design changes and revisions and also connects to AutoCadTM for swift and accurate input of design data to isometric, layout and arrangement drawings.
